Fresh Escargot,

Sustainably Grown in WA

South West Snails: WA’s Premier Snail Farm

South West Snails is Western Australia's only dedicated snail farm, proudly family-owned and operated. We specialise in producing premium, fresh A-Class Escargot, exclusively supplied to the restaurant industry. Our B-Class Escargot, slightly smaller in size but equally high in quality, is now available for purchase through our online store.

Nestled in the heart of WA’s South West region, our farm takes advantage of the area's rich soils and Mediterranean climate—ideal conditions for cultivating top-tier escargot.

Meet Your Local Snail Farmers

We’re Nick and Victoria Howe – the family behind South West Snails.

We started our farm in 2022 with a vision: to grow Australia’s first fresh, ethically raised escargot.

With a custom indoor facility and free-range outdoor pens, we raise Helix aspersa snails with care, sustainability, and pride. Everything we do is paddock-to-plate – raised, purged, and shipped from our WA farm directly to you.
